FAIR exists because of a pattern we watched for twenty years: founders build remarkable companies, then walk into the M&A conversation blind — reactive, underprepared, and hearing about their best buyer from someone else. We built the radar we always wished our founders had.
Ricardo Normand
Ricardo has spent more than twenty years in venture capital, capital raising and tech M&A across Brazil, Europe and North America. He managed Novarum, the first seed-capital fund in Brazil, and has since worked on fundraising and M&A transactions for technology companies from IT to biotech — as advisor, investor, and board member.
He was the first advisor to OneSkin — one of longevity biotech's most visible companies — and has advised it since its inception in 2016. He serves on boards and advisory boards of technology startups, and has judged the MIT Inclusive Innovation Challenge across LATAM and Europe. He works from Portugal, in the middle of the three markets FAIR watches.
That career is the product spec: FAIR reads the M&A ecosystem the way an experienced advisor would — continuously, calmly, and for your niche — so you see buyers coming years before you need them.
One team, two disciplines — and a wall between them.
FAIR is software, built under our X23 Labs brand. Behind it sits X23 Capital's two decades of sell-side M&A and advisory experience — that's what the scoring, the rationale, and the calm tone are made of.
And because we know exactly how sensitive acquisition intent is, we bound ourselves publicly: your radar data is used only to run your radar. It never feeds advisory work or any advisory client — that's a published commitment in our privacy policy, not a marketing line.
